  1. Reinforcing a terrorist belief that there are using a viable and dangerous technique and have just been unlucky, is no bad thing though. As long as they believe it, they won’t be looking for something more effective.

  2. A rather good point.

  3. I have posted my view on this and linked to your post, and I know that Rachel North London is also concerned about all the hype associated with this.

  4. What I want to know is this: What is the functional difference between a well planned, technically proficient attack and a couple of Islamist Kamikaze? They can both cause untold damage, loss of life and mayhem. And apropos our CIA man’s analysis what comfort can we draw from the fact that highly qualified moslems in this country can suddenly launch themselves on murderous suicide missions?.

  5. Excuse the direct comment, but I am an ex pat residing in the States, incensed by the US statements of amateur hour. (Also an ex met cop)……..Terrorism in any form destroys lives and damages economies regardless if it is conducted by Punch and Judy or not…..
Another CIA talking head who has not got a grasp of the facts, no access to Met Police forensics, and missed the intelligence on 9/11. I further sayeth naught.
