I accept that this is not the most cerebral post I have made… but I have just seen an advert on British television for “Curanail” – a “New treatment for nail fungus Now available without prescription”
I just wondered how many people in Britain suffer from nail fungus… to justify an expensive Tv advert.

I do have some rusty nails in my odds and sods box, but I can’t honestly say that I have noticed any of them suffering from fungus…
Yes… I did have a couple of glasses of Rioja – but it was bizarre to see this advert… I may have to lay off the juice
Perhaps nail fungus is de rigueur in some quarters…
…or was, hence the adverts.
Travelling on the Central Line yesterday I looked up to find the very same advert and a rather vile-looking toenail staring back at me from the opposite side of the carriage. I’m not sure whether the image or the use of a cringingly awful “pun” three times in the same small advert was more offensive…
