‘The Royal Welsh Regiment and the Welsh Guards traditionally celebrate St David’s Day with the presentation of leeks to soldiers, often by a member of the Royal Family, and a parade. So I am guessing thats the reason for the leek. for once it serves a purpose!’ – indeed constantinos – we didn’t think it was his snack. see also henry v.

Hmm, Charon, with respect to the purchase of a small cauliflower for the purposes of ornamentation, I am of the opinion that it depends precisely where upon your anatomy you intend to place said vegetable; to this end, perhaps some purple sprouting broccoli and/ or an organic cucumber would prove to be the perfect accoutrement for those determined that the wearing of vegetables is in fact, in fashion terms, the new black.

and while we’re on the bpp mockery thing they are doing rather more lectures on how to upgrade your gdl to a llb. than on less useful things like land law. damn good thing too, really.

answer of course is pay them 2K! most people on the course look like finding 2K in loose change wil be rather easier than passing land law. some of them are so posh i can’t actually understand what they are saying; someone needs to ship a bulk load of consonants to bpp pronto!

i’m at bpp and i think their rules are silly and inflexible. to be fair to them, i think a lot of the (really rather nice) people running it really want to make things better. probably on some loathesome tory principle but hey – you can’t have it all.

bpp want to do it properly like cambridge – if your bar bill isn’t paid you just don’t get a degree. you can find out all the exam results you want but they won’t let you graduate! haha as the worthy nelson muntz would say.

I rather like the idea of wearing vegetables. I may well find time to nip down to Sainsbury’s and buy a small cauliflower…. I think it would be quite a good accessory?

Not entirely surprising to see the picture of Prince Charles taking a leak in his suit.

Speaking of which isn’t it time we stopped taking the P out of BPP? Perhaps not, after all. Their silly rules do deserve to be hissed at.
