Sagalout?….

Today is the anniversary of my arrival on this earth just over half way through the last century. I am unlikely to have to worry about global warming in the long term for myself - but perhaps moving to higher ground may be best in the long term for those of you who read The Independent and / or who do have to take a long term view.

    You share your birthday with Norway’s Constitution Day, which is celebrated every year, more specifically with parades everywhere for children. I’m sure you would an extra dollop of ice-cream as it’s your birthday! :D

    I enjoy ice cream - but it is just a tad too early in the day for that - but not for a health improving lunchtime glass of rioja!

    Of course, given the advances in medical science you may yet have to worry about the potential effects of climate change … West London is, of course, one huge flood plain :)

    I am sipping a Rioja - and I’ve just managed to write and recoird episode 5 of West London Man….

    Episode 6 : A visit to Lords…the aftermath will follow tomorrow.

    I may be losing the plot… but hey….

    RO: Yes… Chiswick is a flood plain… I have a ladder and a rubber dinghy…. most useful.

    I am going to be donating my body to that German Doctor - so I may live on forever…. Plastination is the way forward I am sure….
