I found this very funny until one of the commentators on Guido pointed out that McMental being 3/4 blind might have something to do with it. Now, I still find it funny but I feel slightly ashamed that I do.
or gordon might just have been worried the pc was about to cosh him at random. it’s what they do apparently.
BarBoy – fair point. I don’t know the extent of Brown’s vision impairment…. but not really a matter of great moment… just part of daily political life…
It may also be of course that being British Brown doesn’t feel need to shake hands with someone he sees every day… most of us don’t shake hands all the time with those we know well!
