I would be interested in some more discussion about the offence “sex with surprise”. This sounds to me (as a simple non-lawyer) that it occurs when consent was given on the basis of a false promise. If that is the case, what kind of ‘false promises’ are these. Also, is this an offence that can be committed only by men or can women commit it as well?
