Excellent first Without Prejudice podcast for 2012! I must say, for what it’s worth, that I tend to agree with the Secretary of State for Scotland and the UK Government on the issue of whether Scotland has the legal power to hold a referendum. My reading of the Scotland Act leads me to that view, the same view I held in 2007 when the issue first arose after the SNP formed a minority Government in Scotland.
