Blawg Review – the US carnival of law blogs has sprung back to life after a short break with two excellent Blawg Reviews.
US lawyer Dan Hull, author of the WhatAboutClients blog – which transmogrifies into WhataboutParis at weekends – has a wonderful survey of legal happenings in his Blawg Review…
Blawg Review #318: Fully-Engaged, Participatory, Risk-Taking, Pro-Immersion, Get-Off-Your-Knees, Change-the-World Will Shakespeare-Hunter Thompson Edition.
Dan doesn’t take prisoners… a good read.
Canadian lawyer Antonin Pribetic follows up with a very thorough and comprehensive survey of the world of legal blogging and includes some well known UK law blogs. Ed of Blawg Review provides the introduction….
Blawg Review #319 at The Trial Warrior Blog, by Antonin Pribetic this week, includes copious factoids and anecdotes of this day in history–including one to his Croatian roots–who knew? All of which provides an entertaining and informative backdrop for some of the best legal blog posts of recent days, curated by one of the best of the blawgosphere. It’s a longish Blawg Review, so take your time to enjoy the narrative and the links.
A good read…. 2000 words less than one of my own Blawg Review efforts – as Antonin observed on twitter – and most enjoyable to read!
Regular readers of my blog will know I do not seek prizes, honours or awards. If I fancy an award – I simply give it to myself. It is quite possible that I may be an Earl later in the day, only to change my mind and make myself a Duke. However….I am honored (sic) to discover that my Blawg Review #292 was recognised as Blawg Review of The Year for 2011. Thank you for that.
And extremely well deserved #justsaying
… a bit of recognition for excellent work is always welcome and, in your case, deserved. Awards are another thing – something to be avoided if at all possible.
Mike, your Blawg Review #292 richly deserved the Blawg Review of the Year 2011 Award. You may recall I wrote this post extolling its virtues: http://thetrialwarrior.com/2011/01/02/blawg-review-292-by-charonqc-genius-fostered-by-energy/. Cheers, Nino
