I’d like to thank Lawtel, Westlaw, Cassons For Counsel, City University Law School, David Phillips & Partners Solicitors, Inksters Solicitors, Iken, LBC Wise Counsel, Carrs Solicitors, JMW Solicitors – Manchester, Pannone and Cellmark for sponsoring the podcast – and the free student materials on Insite Law – appreciated.
Thanks to all concerned. I was most disappointed that in discussing the Lucasfilm decision, nothing was said about the justiciablity issue. I was hoping to be enlightened on what were the implications of the Supreme Court decision to allow the appeal on that issue.

Good podcast.
These Supreme Court appointments are getting very interesting and lots of tricky issues are arising. Would some of the “greats” of the past have got through selection? For example, would we have ever had Lord Reid who came straight from the Scottish bar? (Served from 1948-1975. Undoubtedly in the “Top 10” of the “Law Lord” list and – per Brian Clough – “possibly in the top one”).
Loved the error in the Stormtrooper helmet case – it was all set “a long time ago in a galaxy, far, far away”! Local pub quiz question that. The Supreme Court of the Galaxy (Lords Vader, Yoda, Valorum, Obi-wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn) would have got it right).
Never mind … until next time … Multa novit vulpes, verum echinus unum magnum. Keep taking the rioja …!
Andy J… sorry… that was my fault… we had a very busy agenda… but you are right… it would have been good to have a few minutes or so on it. Mea culpa!
[…] We discussed the difference between legal journalism and law blogging with Joshua Rozenberg in our last Without Prejudice podcast […]
