Paul Waugh reports “The BBC have just been told that David Cameron will NOT be going head-to-head with Jeremy Paxman on Monday.”
I watched the Paxo interview with Clegg. It was good and I thought Clegg did quite well. Brown is, apparently, quite happy to face Paxo on 26 April.
The Leader Debates are on tomorrow. I think I’d rather watch a Paxo interview with the leaders.

Advice to Cameron – get on the programme! Could always do a Michael Howard and just get “Paxo” asking the same question over and over again! It was fun to watch but did not do Howard any favours if I remember correctly. Of course, a really brilliant cross-examiner would have “moved on” but later asked the original question in another guise!
perhaps he’ll send sam on instead, as she appears to be the tories’ great new policy idea. on the day the manifesto was launched, she was on the front of the telegraph and again in the inside pages. look everyone, she’s up the duff. that annoying little squit has again done it wiv a lady. vote conservative.
Isn`t Paxo something to do with chickens and the stuffing of them?????
