Today I return to interviewing lawyers, or, to be more accurate, a prospective lawyer … Lawyer-2-be. The interview is done over the telephone and we have deliberately distorted her voice to preserve anonymity.
Lawyer-2-be describes herself as a ‘mature’ student – defined as over 25. I talk with her about the difficulties faced by mature students, her views on the BVC, diversity at the Bar and her plans for practice.

Having been reading your blog for some time Charon I must, with a little embarrassment, confess that this is the first of your podcasts I have listened to. I have been an avid reader of Lawyer-2-Be’s blog since it began. I found the podcast to be very informative and useful, especially helpful as I am still attempting to decide my own career path.
For some readon, I always assumed lawyer-2-be was a male
