Sir,
One has already taken the proverbial bull by the horns and notified a certain regal sounding Scottish bank, exactly where it may deposit its future funds. Enough is quite enough.

Dear JB…. the Treasury Committee Chairman.. put the boot in….. Glasgow stylee …. good stuff…
[…] The rest is here: Bankers say unreservedly sorry and have lost lots themselves… […]
Sir,
I shall of course be on standby to purchase any riverside properties at a considerably reduced price after hearing that 2,300 of them are to lose their jobs.
You must excuse one for being somewhat jocular and flippant, but they are hardly the most caring of people themselves.
Although the credit crunch / recession / depression, call it what you will, is hurting a lot of normal hard working chappies, it is still an ideal time to make money.
I would advise you to buy property while the prices are so low. A little insight is a powerful tool.
cheerio,
JB

As I listened to the reports on the radio yesterday, a tear sprang to my glass eye.
I was particularly impressed by the way my old friend Michael Fallon put them through the wringer. I bet he voted for the Financial Service Act back at the beginning of his parliamentary career – isn’t that the root of the problem? Or does David Bowie really have to take all the blame?
