Ron is eloquent on the issue and may be accused only of making “way too much sense”; I learned a lot. I still see the billable hour as very useful for at least some part of all complex litigation and deals–there are surprises at every turn in these. Beyond that, it’s a trust issue. Lawyers do need to work harder and get better at giving prices and cost estimates up front. There, I am also sold. And Ron sure can sell this issue. Nice show, guys.
